Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith made their first public appearance together in four months on Tuesday.
The couple had a family dinner at celebrity hotspot Nobu Malibu, and were joined by their son Jaden Smith and Will’s son Trey from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.
Will’s mother, Caroline Bright, also attended the outing.
The actress wore a long black jacket with Louis Vuitton jeans and a black top. She completed the look with a black headwrap and sandals.
Will opted for a more casual look, wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, and Nike sneakers. He also wore a red bomber jacket.
The two arrived at the dinner separately, but left the restaurant together in a black Land Rover, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
Will, 57, and Pinkett Smith, 54, were last photographed together in February when they dined with Jaden and his daughter Willow Smith at Nobu Malibu.
Prior to that, the two, who got married in 1997, showed a united front in January by attending the Fall/Winter 2026 Men’s Paris Fashion Week in support of Jaden.
The 27-year-old made his debut as Christian Louboutin’s first men’s creative director.
The Men in Black star has given his “blessings” after singer August Alsina made headlines in 2020 when he claimed he had an affair with Pinkett Smith.
At the time, the couple’s representatives claimed the claims were “completely false,” but Pinkett Smith later admitted that he had “entangled” with Alsina. The “I Am Legend” star and producer further claimed that they broke up while they were meeting the musician.
About a year later, Will revealed that he and the “Madagascar” star had an open marriage because he believed marriage should not “feel like a prison.”
But in 2023, the former Red Table Talk host revealed that she and Will had been secretly separated for seven years.
“We’re still thinking about it,” the “Girls Trip” star told People at the time. “We’ve worked really hard together. We just have a deep love for each other. We’re going to figure out what that means for us.”
She shared that they “live separately,” but said they continue to support each other.
“I’m going to be there for him,” she said of their unconventional dynamic. “But I also forgive him for having to figure this out for himself.”
Around that time, she also revealed that Will defending her against Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars saved their marriage.
“After years of debating whether to leave Will’s side, that slap convinced me I would never leave him,” she told the Daily Mail.
However, in January 2024, a source close to the couple told People that the couple was still living in separate homes.
“Call them whatever you want. They are living their own lives, but they haven’t completely severed ties,” the source claimed.
However, another source claimed that the two are “still together” and “have been living in separate homes for years.”
