The most Googled fashion item in history may be making a comeback.
Jennifer Lopez officially kicked off her “Office Romance” press tour at the LA premiere on Tuesday night, hitting the red carpet wearing vintage Versace.
But there’s a more iconic dress from the same Italian fashion house that started it all.
Of course, we’re talking about the “jungle dress.” A green printed long sleeve gown with a low neckline and a high slit. When she wore it to the 2000 Grammy Awards, it was so provocative that it inspired the invention of Google Images.
“Do you still have that dress?” Jimmy Kimmel asked the star on “Live” Wednesday night. “I have both dresses,” she replied.
“(Donatella Versace) made me a brand new green dress” to commemorate the 20th anniversary, Lopez said.
The multihyphenate closed out the design house’s Spring 2020 show wearing a reimagined version of the original stunning look.
Kimmel suggested they celebrate every 20 years with a surprising look, but Kimmel got up from his seat to cheers from the audience and excitedly replied, “I’m going to make a promise now.”
“I’m still going to wear it in 20 years,” she added, “and it’s going to look great! You can’t hate it, can you?”
The 56-year-old then added that the two dresses were part of her casual archive, but clarified that “it’s not a museum or a formal archive like what I’ve heard some people have…”
“I heard it was like a store,” she said of her “idol” Barbra Streisand, who has taken a more formal approach to clothing preservation over the years.
Just because the original is in storage doesn’t mean the design will lose its importance in 2026. In fact, the hot new show “Off Campus” featured interpretations of J.Lo’s recent looks.
“‘On the Floor’ was on the charts for the first time in 15 years,” Lopez said of Sheen.
