Kelly Dodd is downplaying allegations that she was involved in revenge porn.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star said in an Instagram video Thursday that when she was contacted by a journalist about the charges and the possibility of prison time, she thought, “What is really going on here?”
“It’s very funny to me, by the way,” added Dodd, 50.
Dodd’s husband, Rick Leventhal, told his followers: “I can’t say much right now because Kelly hasn’t been to court yet.”
But he acknowledged that Dodd would “go to court.”
The former Fox News correspondent also claimed that TMZ “got most of the facts wrong” in its reporting on the allegations.
“And I also know that you can’t wait for the truth to come out,” he told Dodd.
Dodd said as the couple poured glasses of tequila. “I need to lift my spirits right now because this is insane. I know it’s someone in my family who’s putting this out there. And you know who it is.”
Dodd also revealed that he received an important text message on Leventhal’s phone, which he plans to share with subscribers of “The Rick & Kelly Show” on YouTube.
Prosecutors accuse Dodd of sharing videos of women having sex and masturbating without their consent, according to court documents obtained by Page Six on Wednesday.
The former Bravo star allegedly shared the images in August 2025, which prosecutors say left the unnamed victim with severe emotional distress.
Prosecutors alleged Dodd contacted the person and threatened to harm her, her property and her family.
Dodd is also charged with an incident with another person in June 2025, Page Six confirmed.
Dodd is currently charged with three misdemeanors and could receive prison time.
Page Six has reached out to Dodd’s representatives for comment.
Dodd starred on Bravo’s RHOC for five seasons from 2016 to 2021.
She has been married to Leventhal (66) since October 2020.
Her previous marriages were to Michael Dodd (with whom she had daughter Jolie) from 2006 to 2018 and Scott Silva from 2001 to 2004.
