The autopsy report of ‘Storage Wars’ star Darrell Sheets has been revealed.
Toxicology tests on Sheets came back negative, according to a report obtained by Us Weekly on Wednesday.
Medical examiners tested for benzodiazepines, cocaine, fentanyl and other substances, but no drugs were found in the reality TV alum’s system.
The report also noted the fact that Mr. Sheets’ body was “that of a well-developed and well-nourished adult male.”
The Mohave County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Sheets died by suicide.
In May, the Mohave County Coroner’s Office in Arizona ruled the television personality’s death a suicide.
According to the Lake Havasu Police Department, Sheets’ body was discovered at 2 a.m. on April 22nd, suffering from an apparent self-inflicted wound to the head. He was 67 years old.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Lake Havasu Police Department Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene and took over the investigation,” police said in a statement at the time.
Officials confirmed that after the body was identified as Sheets, it was “ultimately turned over to the Mohave County Coroner’s Office for further investigation.”
Co-star Rene Nezoda claimed on social media that Sheets had been cyberbullied before her death.
“He’s been really, really tormenting and cyberbullying him lately,” Nejoda said in an Instagram video hours after Sheets’ body was discovered.
“Darrell has posted a lot about the man who was cyberbullying and tormenting him. I really hope (law enforcement) investigates that guy, but it’s not just a pass,” Nejoda added.
Public information officer Sergeant Kyle Ridgway told Page Six in a statement that authorities are “aware of these allegations of cyberbullying and this is part of an active investigation.”
Sheets, who was seen smiling in a photo with fans hours before her death, appeared on the popular show from 2010 to 2023.
He is survived by his son and “Storage Wars” co-star Brandon Sheets, daughter Tiffany Sheets, granddaughter Zoe, and ex-wife Kimber Wuerffel.
Brandon honored his father’s memory in a touching memorial message he shared on Instagram on April 30th.
“My heart is so broken. … I love you Dad and I will do my best to live in your honor and respect our family,” he wrote in part.
The same day, Wuerffel paid tribute to her ex-husband, writing, “Darrell gave us so much laughter, connection, and life.”
“May the memories you have of him be close to your heart, and may my memories be with me forever,” she added. “Our family would like to thank you all. Those who wish to attend the service will be notified at a later date.”
