Jack Antonoff was slammed by co-host Craig Melvin during an awkward moment on the Today show about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
Antonoff appeared on Friday morning’s show with his band Bleachers to perform their new song “Dirty Wedding Dress” and talk about how his wedding to Margaret Qualley inspired the song.
“Are you planning on attending any big weddings this summer?” Melvin asked the musicians after the performance.
“Well, I hope so. Yes, I hope so!” Antonov, 42, replied, pausing.
As Melvin continued to press the frontman about where the wedding would take place, Antonoff began hilariously mocking the journalist, and the two grabbed each other and burst into laughter.
“I love being married,” Antonoff said, trying to deflect the question.
“That’s all you’re going to give me, isn’t it?” Melvin interjected as the two men stood hugging each other.
“Did you have some time?” Antonov joked. “I think we had a moment. It’s kind of awkward,” Melvin laughed.
Swift’s longtime collaborator Antonoff isn’t the only wedding guest feeling pressured about the upcoming A-list nuptials.
Last week, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed that he would attend the wedding when asked if he had received an invitation to the long-awaited wedding.
“Probably so,” he teased. “If I can’t wear a tuxedo by then, I’ll go.”
Additionally, Graham Norton sheepishly responded when asked about his invitation status on a January episode of his podcast.
He teased his attendance by telling listeners, “I can’t say anything. I signed so many non-disclosure agreements.”
After Page Six exclusively revealed that Swift and Kelsey, both 36, had saved their wedding date, the couple took more extreme measures to prevent further leaks.
The couple is reportedly personally calling friends and family to invite them to the wedding.
