Season 6 of Emily in Paris is currently in production, but it will be the last for the show.

Netflix announced Thursday that the popular series will end with Season 6, which is currently filming in Greece. A season 6 renewal was announced in January.

“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the journey of a lifetime,” said series creator Darren Star. “As we enter our final season, we are so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and most importantly, our fans for being with us on this incredible journey. We can’t wait to share this final chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives and for inspiring your travel dreams and love for Paris. We will continue to do Emily in Paris!”

In the series, Lily Collins plays Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris and embarks on a life-changing journey to Europe. According to the official logline, “Her new life is full of engrossing adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles work, friendships, and romance.”

Collins posted a video for fans of the show, which you can watch in full below. In the video, she said, “Season 6 will deliver everything you love about this show and be the final chapter in Emily’s once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Our entire cast and crew have been preparing with all their hearts to create this amazing farewell season, and we’re currently filming. We can’t wait to celebrate the final season with you in the chicest way yet and all the magic that’s to come.”

In addition to Collins, the series also stars Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gourie, William Abadi, Lucien Ravicount, Eugenio Franceschini, Talia Besson, Paul Foreman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Brian Greenberg, and Michel Larocque.

Starr serves as a writer and executive producer on the series. It is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media.

“Emily in Paris” has proven to be incredibly successful throughout its first five seasons on Netflix. Seasons 1 to 5 combined spent 32 weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 English TV chart and reached the number one spot in 90 countries.

This is the second time in the past week that a Netflix series has announced a final season. Previously, it was revealed that the upcoming fifth season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” will be the show’s last.
