Cardi B blamed her explosive argument with Stefon Diggs on being a little hungry.
After a video of their confrontation went viral, the “WAP” rapper explained to X why everything went wrong.
“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity,” she tweeted.
Cardi’s explanation came shortly after TMZ shared video of the on-again, off-again couple arguing outside a coffee shop in Burtonsville, Maryland, on Wednesday afternoon.
In the clip, the Grammy Award winner, 33, looked quite animated as she shouted at Diggs, who was standing there in a relaxed manner.
The former New England Patriots player, 32, crossed his arms and leaned against his car as Cardi (real name Belcalis Almanzar) approached.
Sources told TMZ that the “Bodak Yellow” host could be heard yelling “that woman is dirty” at Diggs during the 10-minute confrontation.
The outlet also posted a photo of the two arguing while Cardi was sitting outside the venue.
The altercation comes two days after reports surfaced that Cardi was giving the wide receiver “another chance” at their relationship.
“She’s giving him a second chance, but she’s not fully committed to him,” a source told Us Weekly on Monday.
Sources said the Grow-Good co-founder is “slowly” bringing Diggs back.
“They have been in closer contact lately. Things are no longer on the table,” the source added.
“She still loves Stefon so it’s hard for her to leave him.”
Over the weekend, Cardi and Diggs packed on PDA during the Athlete’s Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday.
The NFL free agent is seen affectionately putting his arm around Cardi’s waist and kissing her on the cheek, according to footage shared online.
The “I Like It” rapper and Diggs reportedly broke up ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl appearance in February because Cardi “couldn’t trust him.”
The couple has a son, born in November 2025.
Diggs has five other children, four of whom were born in 2025.
Cardi is also the mother of three children, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, with her estranged husband Offset (real name Kiara Cephas).
