Meghan Markle shared a rare photo of her children, Lilibet and Archie, together to mark her seventh birthday. This shot gently showed the close relationship between the two. A source spoke to People magazine yesterday about how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are co-parenting, especially after Harry spent his childhood in the royal family.
Meghan Markle celebrated baby Archie’s 7th birthday on Instagram last night. The post gave a very unusual look at his relationship with his sister Lilibet.
Meghan shared a photo of baby Archie and a current photo of him with Lili on the beach. “7 years later…Happy birthday to our sweet son 🤍,” she wrote.
Meghan last shared a glimpse of her two children in early April. She shared a video of them running on an Easter egg hunt.
On May 6, a source spoke to People magazine about how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are raising Lili and Archie. “They give their children space to be themselves and allow their different personalities to flourish,” the source said. “That was really important to Harry after growing up so publicly.”
In a March 2025 interview with People magazine, Meghan spoke about how she and Prince Harry tried to keep their children educated largely out of the public eye.
She said she didn’t want to film her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan Markle” at her home in Montecito, California, because “I wanted to keep it safe.” “We are a close-knit family and love the moments when we put Lili down for a nap, have lunch together, and spend sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is just Mom cooking for the family, and with over 80 staff, we have a lot of people at home!”
She also talked about including her daughter Lili in the initial launch of her brand, As Ever. (Lili also recently starred in Meghan Markle’s As Ever and High Camp Supply collaborative campaigns, which both Archie and Lili helped shoot).
“I’ve spent so much of my life advocating for girls’ and women’s rights, so to have a little girl of my own and to be able to see this as a multi-generational story – which of course includes Archie and of course includes my husband – but I love the traditional feel of it and knowing that this is something I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mother,” she said. “I hope this becomes part of her legacy as well.”
