Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey spent some time in London last week, enjoying date nights on Thursday and Friday. However, they departed and headed to Greece for a very special weekend celebration. It’s the Glyfada wedding of Kelce’s Greek Kansas City Chiefs teammates George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris.
HuffPost Greece reports that Swift was “dancing late into the night” with Kelce and his wife at a reception held at One&Only Aesthetics. The newspaper wrote that guests were impressed by her kindness and that she greeted everyone. The wedding was mostly private, with attendees turning off their cell phones.
On Saturday, an onlooker caught a glimpse of Swift and shared her look in a dark sleeveless dress with X.
Karlaftis spoke to People about his marriage in an interview published this morning. The couple had 220 guests, including current and former NFL teammates.
“I think my favorite part was the ceremony because it was really emotional, more than I expected,” he said. “I never expected to cry so much during the ceremony. When I saw Kaia and her dad walking down the aisle, I screamed as loud as I could.”
An international buffet was served at the reception, and the couple had planned to have the “best weekend of their lives with friends and family,” he said, adding: “My biggest stress was making sure everyone was having a good time.”
“We brought together all of our Greek family and friends and friends from different parts of life, and we didn’t know how everyone would fit in,” he added of the three-day wedding, which included a welcome reception, traditional Greek Orthodox ceremonies, and a farewell cookout. “The first night, 25 different worlds collided. We have really cool friends and the people we invited were awesome. Everyone got along, made new friends, and danced together. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day or night.”
