Meghan revealed Princess Lilibet’s American accent to her Instagram followers on Thursday.
The Duchess of Sussex’s daughter’s voice could be heard in the background of the video posted via Stories.
In the video, the “Suits” alum, 44, introduced the “chocolate man”, Compartes founder Jonathan Graham, to his family’s chickens.
“Mom, I bought another gray one!” the four-year-old boy exclaimed as Markle filmed the video from inside the shed.
The little one’s shoes and pink dress were briefly seen on camera as her mother replied, “Thank you, sweetheart.”
Markle and her husband Prince Harry are also parents to 6-year-old son Prince Archie.
The social media upload comes a year after Markle told viewers of “The Drew Barrymore Show” that her children speak certain words in their father’s British accent.
“Zebra is a good girl,” the “With Love, Meghan” star said in a March 2025 interview. “I think it’s cute because he says things that are typical of him.”
“They have their little moments where it comes out,” she added, revealing that they generally have “a very American accent.”
The brothers also have their father’s red hair.
Prince Harry, 41, said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January 2023 that the color “definitely” comes from his late mother, Princess Diana’s side of the family.
“The ginger gene is a strong gene. The Spencer gene is very strong,” he explained. “Actually, when we first started dating, I really thought that we should stay apart and have children, that there was no way my ginger genes could compete with my wife’s, but I was wrong. Let’s eat ginger!”
The former military pilot began dating Markle in 2016 and got down on one knee the following year.
The duo walked down the aisle in 2018 and welcomed Archie and Lilibet in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
During the birth of their baby, Prince Harry and Ms. Markle quit their royal roles and moved to the United States. Their family of four lives in a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California.
