Anne Hathaway slammed her husband Adam Shulman for holding the fort with his family while promoting his upcoming movie.
“He supports me completely,” the “Princess Diaries” star, who has sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, told People magazine in a cover story published Monday.
“This year has been particularly unusual,” he said, referring to the five films scheduled for release, including “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Mother Mary,” “The Odyssey,” “Verity” and “The End of Oak Street.”
“He and I both know that something like this will probably never happen again,” Hathaway, 43, continued.
“And the way he stepped up, I mean, in every sense of the word, he’s the most extraordinary person I’ve ever met.”
The actress and Schulman, 45, first met at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival and married in 2012.
“I’m so lucky to have him as my life partner,” Hathaway told the magazine. “Even if you didn’t know that before this past year, I think you really know it now because with everything he really has, he’s riding it.”
“He’s holding it back,” she exclaimed. “I hope I don’t sound like I’m bragging, but he’s my dream partner.”
“It’s one thing to have a dream and another to have people who can help you achieve your dreams,” the Disney alum added.
“I would never have been able to accomplish what I have accomplished without my husband,” she added.
Hathaway also described Schulman as a “great cook,” saying, “That’s one of the ways I really value him.”
The couple stepped out for a rare date night on Saturday night at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California to celebrate the 2026 Breakthrough Awards.
They walked the star-studded red carpet all smiles before entering the event celebrating the world’s best scientist receiving a $3 million prize for his innovation.
Hathaway dazzled in a black dress, while Shulman looked dapper in a classic suit.
Prior to this, the pair last appeared together at a Bvlgari event in Italy last month and on a date night at the 2025 Golden Heart Awards in New York City last October.
