“Love on the Spectrum” star Abby Romeo “liked” David Isaacman’s Instagram upload shortly after their breakup broke.
The 27-year-old expressed her support for her alleged ex-boyfriend’s upcoming children’s book, “The Big Five Save the Lions.”
Isaacman, 31, appeared on the cover Thursday, writing, “This story is deeply personal to me and inspired by me and my friends, who have been reimagined as children and superheroes. We’re all about protecting animals and standing up for the things that matter.”
He added, “The characters are on the autism spectrum just like me, so their expression has great meaning.”
“Sharing this during Autism Awareness Month makes it even more meaningful, especially while celebrating the new season of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum,” Isaacman said, before thanking his “amazing” team and encouraging his followers to pre-order.
Mr. Isaacman further elaborated on the novel’s plot in subsequent slides, and concluded the merry-go-round with a selfie taken on safari.
He and Romeo met and fell in love during the first season of the popular show, which aired in 2021.
News of the beloved couple’s split broke on Thursday, with a source telling the US Sun that they “couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married.”
A source claimed that Romeo was “ready” to walk down the aisle “a few years ago” but his partner “needed more time”.
Another source said Isaacman was in “good condition.”
Representatives for Mr. Romeo and Mr. Isaacman have not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
The two discussed their wedding plans on Season 4 of Love on the Spectrum, which premiered on April 1st.
“Neither of us are ready to get married,” Romeo told producers.
“We’re already married in our hearts,” the knitter explained, adding that she “doesn’t want to be a divorced woman like my mother” and plans to “take my time.”
However, she and Isaacman talked about their future wedding location: the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, where the couple had their first date.
And when co-stars Madison Marilla and Tyler White got engaged, Romeo told viewers, “I hope we can be next.”
