Kyle Cook says he’s “not feeling well” as ex Amanda Batula faces backlash after announcing a new romance with his “Summer House” co-star West Wilson.
“Honestly, I’m really worried about Amanda,” Cook told street journalist Adam Glynn in a TikTok video posted Wednesday, adding that his ex-girlfriend had given him a “warning” before her big announcement.
“I was just talking to her last night, and I understand that people have different opinions, and I’m not trying to justify any of her actions, but from what I’ve seen, it’s like she’s been cyberbullied, and at the end of the day, all I know is that West is a man who plays multiple women at the same time.”
“I did a little digging and it seems like 50,000 people somehow decided that West was worth following. All they do is shine a light on Amanda in the meantime. It’s disgusting,” Cook continued.
“Amanda knows what she did was wrong and is trying to come to terms with it. She is not feeling well.”
Page Six could not independently verify Cook’s claims regarding his social media following.
After coming forward with news of her romance with Wilson, Batula became the subject of backlash as Bravo fans were quick to take sides in the scandal’s aftermath.
Barstool Sports creator Dave Portnoy went on a scathing rant on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, labeling her a “villain, a liar and a traitorous snake.”
He came to this conclusion after “talking to some of the young women in the office and getting more information” about the Bravo scandal.
Batula and Wilson came out as romantically involved in a statement on social media on Tuesday.
“While this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity as we have seen speculation online increase,” the announcement reads.
“It was never our intention to intentionally hide anything. Given the complex relationship dynamics and intense scrutiny that comes with appearing on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before talking about it.”
The two continued, “We have supported each other as friends through good times and bad over the years, and what has recently developed was something neither of us expected. Our connection stems from many years of genuine friendship, so it was especially important that we approach this carefully.”
The pair explained that their “emotions have evolved” and they “wanted to take the time to understand exactly what (we) were feeling.”
While the reality stars define their romance as a “connection,” a source exclusively told Page Six that Wilson and Batula are in a “serious relationship.”
“This is more than just an affair,” the source shared, noting that the duo’s castmates, including Wilson’s ex Ciara Miller and Cook, are “pissed off” and “disappointed.”
Miller, whose close friendship with Batula is on the verge of unraveling following the dating rumors, appeared to slam his Bravo co-stars during an interview with them on the Season 2 premiere of the Apple TV+ series “Your Friends & Neighbors” on Tuesday night.
Miller posted a video of the event on Instagram with the sharp caption: “If you can’t trust your friends and neighbors, who can you trust?”
