Prepare to be disgusted by Zendaya. However, Zendaya doesn’t want you to be disgusted.
The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning film will be released in 2026 alongside A24’s The Drama (April 3), Euphoria Season 3 (April 12), Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey (July 17), Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31) and Dune: Part 3 (December 18). Asked about her busy schedule in a recent interview with Fandango alongside her “The Drama” co-stars Robert Pattinson, Alana Haim and Mamoudou Ati, Zendaya said she might need to “take a little break” after a busy year.
“Maybe I hope people don’t get fed up with me,” she said. “And I really appreciate everyone who has supported the movie or supported my career in any way. I’m deeply grateful. And like I said, I just hope you don’t get fed up with me this year.”
She added with a laugh: “Because after this, I’m going to disappear for a little while. I have to hide for a little while.”
In “The Drama,” Zendaya and Pattinson play a couple whose relationship is rocked by a shocking revelation just days before their wedding. During the press tour, Zendaya made headlines for her bridal method of dressing in the tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” amid rumors of her recent marriage to her “Spider-Man” co-star Tom Holland.
At the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama, Zendaya wore “something old”: the Vivienne Westwood dress she wore to the 2015 Oscars. Speaking to Variety magazine on the red carpet, she said the 2015 Academy Awards was “a very important moment for myself, my community, my loved ones, and it just felt right. And it also happens to be my wedding dress, so it just works.”
