Ahead of Taylor Frankie Paul’s 2023 domestic violence incident, Taylor Frankie Paul’s neighbor called 911 after hearing “screaming.”
“First of all, there’s some kind of domestic violence, someone yelling ‘get away from me,’ a woman screaming,” Paul’s neighbor told paramedics in a phone call obtained by Us Weekly from the Herriman Police Department. “The garage door keeps opening and closing. It looks like she’s trying to get out.”
The woman said it sounded like “someone was leaving the property.”
“Someone is in the truck,” she continued. “So it looks like the woman who was screaming is going to leave right now. … (She) hasn’t actually left. She’s heading back into the house right now.”
Paul’s neighbor added that she heard no weapons or signs of alcohol use.
“I know they have kids, but I don’t know if they’re there right now because I think she’s sharing time with her ex-husband,” she elaborated during the call. “I want to know if they’re okay. I mean, it seems like she’s okay right now. I don’t know if anyone else that was there was screaming.”
The person told the operator he had no idea what was going on and “didn’t want people to know” he was “calling the police.”
Page Six has reached out to Paul’s representatives for comment.
Paul was arrested later that night after an altercation with his ex Dakota Mortensen.
Although the incident occurred three years ago, the video of the shocking moment was leaked earlier this month and went viral.
Disturbing footage shows Paul and Mortensen fighting inside their Utah home, with their then-5-year-old daughter Indy apparently being hit by a metal bar stool that the TV personality threw at the TikToker during the incident.
The “Mormon Wives” cast member later pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated assault, which will be reduced to a misdemeanor once his three-year probation ends.
Additional charges, including two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child and one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief, were ultimately dismissed.
Paul and Mortensen, who shares son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate, reconciled before welcoming son Ever, 2, in the same year, but the pair have since parted ways.
After the video was leaked, a representative for the former “Bachelorette” star said in a statement that the video was “conveniently taken out of context” and was part of Mortensen’s “endless, desperate, high-profile, destructive campaign to harm Taylor with no regard for the impact on the child.”
Mortensen, for his part, denied her claims, saying, “I am focused on my son and his safety, and I hope that Mr. Taylor will do the same.”
The social media personality then filed for a restraining order against Paul, accusing her of strangling him in front of her son last month. He was then granted temporary custody of Ever.
Meanwhile, ABC canceled Paul’s season of The Bachelorette following the leaked video.
Police are currently investigating two other incidents of possible domestic violence between Paul and Mortensen. One incident occurred in 2024, and the other occurred last month, which also caused the filming of SLOMW to be halted.
