Carrie Ann Fleming, a Canadian actress known for her roles in shows such as “iZombie” and “Supernatural,” as well as several movies, died on February 26 at the age of 51, Variety reported.
Her “Supernatural” co-star Jim Beaver confirmed to the outlet that Fleming passed away in Sydney, British Columbia, due to complications from breast cancer.
Fleming’s first breakthrough into acting was a recurring role in “Viper” and an uncredited appearance in Adam Sandler’s hit film “Happy Gilmore.”
This marks the beginning of 30 years of on-screen work.
She began making a series of appearances in the horror genre starting in 2005 with a role in ‘Masters of Horror.’
She then appeared on the CW’s horror drama Supernatural as Karen Singer, the wife of Bobby Singer, played by Bieber. She appeared in all five seasons throughout the show’s run.
Another standout role on The CW was as Candy Baker in the 2015 supernatural comedy-drama “iZombie.”
Her other TV credits include “Supergirl,” “UnREAL,” “Motive,” “Continuum,” “Package Deal,” “Alice,” “Knights of Bloodsteel,” “The 4400,” “The L Word” and “Smallville.”
On the big screen, in addition to “Happy Gilmore,” he also appeared in “Good Luck Chuck” and “Marriage Life.”
Fleming also appeared in the TV movie The Unauthorized Full House Story, playing the mother of Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ Tanner on the show.
A representative for Fleming could not immediately be reached by Page Six.
Fleming is survived by a daughter, Madalyn Rose, according to various reports.
