Footage of Justin Timberlake’s infamous Hamptons DWI arrest has finally been released, despite his attempts to stop it.
Video of the incident shows the “Mirrors” singer being stopped on the side of the road in a gray 2025 BMW and being asked a series of questions before complying with officers’ several requests for a search.
“This is like a tough test,” he told the officers, appearing confused by the instructions.
Timberlake, 45, then stumbled several times as he tried to walk straight at the officer’s request.
Eventually, the pressure of the situation seemed to get to him and he said, “My heart is pounding.”
The former *NSYNC members were polite throughout the interaction, responding to authorities with “Yes, sir,” and cooperating with various tasks. However, he ultimately refused to take several breathalyzer tests.
His female friend arrived at the scene after police handcuffed him and placed him in the back seat of a police car.
“Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake now?” she asked before attempting to intervene. She later begged: “I liked “Bye Bye Bye” or “Sexy Back”, so could you please do me a favor?” Let me ask you just one favor! ”
And it seemed to work, as the officer allowed Mr. Timberlake to speak with her for a moment before he was taken to jail.
Earlier this month, Timberlake filed a lawsuit against the upscale Long Island town of Sag Harbor, where he was arrested, to prevent the footage from being released to the public.
Representatives for Timberlake did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “SexyBack” singer was arrested in June 2024 and charged with one count of driving under the influence and two traffic violations: failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to drive on the right.
At the time, a source told Page Six that the former *NSYNC member was pulled over after having dinner with friends at the historic American Hotel in Sag Harbor, but “there were police stationed outside.”
“His friends were telling the police, ‘Let him go, let him go,'” the source added.
We also exclusively reported that the voice actor for “Trolls” expressed concern about the fate of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour during the investigation.
“The officer didn’t know who he was at first,” the source said. “Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’ The officer replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘World tour.’
His long night was evident on his face as he posed for a mug shot with visibly bloodshot eyes after being taken into custody.
The Grammy winner entered into a plea deal leading up to his arrest, reducing the DWI charge to a traffic violation, but this is not a criminal defense.
