Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2026 Oscars red carpet dress was more complicated than it looks.
The Marty Supreme actress, 53, wowed everyone in a white Giorgio Armani Prive dress that at first glance appeared to be a simple strapless style.
However, underneath she wore see-through sparkly pants that showed off her long, toned legs.
In a behind-the-scenes video posted to Goop’s YouTube page, Paltrow shared her red carpet preparations, including a FaceTime with her daughter Apple.
“It’s kind of simple and cute,” she says, adding that the sheer panel style is “sewn in.”
“I can’t pee the whole time I’m here,” she said.
Paltrow was not nominated for her role in Marty Supreme, but on Sunday night Paltrow was presented with an Oscar for Best Casting at the ceremony, although the Josh Safdie-directed film did not win in any category.
The Goop founder boosted her glow for the big night with the company’s skincare products, including Youth Boost Peptide Serum ($150) and All-in-One Super Nutrient Face Oil ($105). She calls the latter “the magical thing.”
Makeup artist Georgie Eisdell gave Paltrow two facial massages and used an expensive Lyma laser and an anti-puffing eye mask to get her ready for the GP red carpet.
Asked about her past Academy Awards appearances, Paltrow said the preparations were “much simpler” and didn’t involve lasers.
“It was like hair and makeup,” she recalls.
What about 2026? “I’d be really surprised if it took this many people to get ready,” she joked.
