Jelly Roll’s wife Bunny Zoe has revealed the tragic aftermath of her recent cosmetic surgery.
The 46-year-old host of the podcast “Dumb Blonde” posted a video on Instagram on Sunday showing herself before and after surgery.
Later in the video, her face is severely swollen and her entire head is wrapped in bandages.
Bunny poked fun at the graphic image, writing that he looked like comedian Bert Kreischer.
Her surgeon, Dr. Daniel J. Gould, also detailed the surgery on Instagram, saying that Bunny was “a beautiful human being before the surgery.”
“Nobody needs plastic surgery, no one needs a facelift,” he prefaced. “But she came to me wanting to correct some of the heaviness and laxity in her neck, improve the position of her cheeks a little, and add a little bit of volume that was previously missing.”
“When we operate on young patients who are already cosmetically improved, we have to be very thoughtful and careful to deliver results that match their anatomy.”
Dr Gould admitted that Bunny (real name Alisa Deford)’s post-surgery condition was “a little scary”, but insisted post-facelift swelling was completely normal.
“He’s a little bruised and a little swollen, but he’s healing well.”
Bunny, who married Jelly Roll in 2016, has been very transparent about the cosmetic work she’s had, including breast implants and a Brazilian butt lift.
Last month, she admitted to taking GLP-1, but said she stopped after experiencing “terrifying” suicidal thoughts while using it.
“It was one of the darkest times of my life, and it was very scary,” she told People magazine, adding that previously, “all I had was anxiety” and “I was proud of the fact that I had never had depression.”
