Hollywood legend Michelle Pfeiffer proves that aging gracefully and staying radiant doesn’t require a complicated routine, it comes down to one simple daily habit that you’ll never miss.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 67, revealed her beauty secrets in an interview with Fox News Digital for Paramount+’s new series “The Madison,” explaining that the real secret is a combination of good genetics, healthy habits, and happiness.
“Oh my god,” Pfeiffer laughed when asked about her health regimen. “I have very good genetics. My mother, my sisters…you know, I take care of myself. I eat really well. I also stopped smoking early enough.”
“And I work out. Exercise is really important and I’m happy. I think that shows…health.”
Pfeiffer’s co-star Kurt Russell, 74, laughed and agreed. “You can do it, I live with Goldie Hawn and I can promise you it can be done.”
When FOX News Digital asked Pfeiffer about her non-negotiable beauty rules, she said it’s simply about keeping the momentum going, small but powerful habits that fuel her glow.
“Honestly, I think exercise is best for your skin, it’s best for your brain, it’s best for everything,” she said.
“If you can only do one thing to look good, it’s exercise. Sweat it out…Sanjay Gupta says everyone should sweat a little bit every day. I sweat a lot…It’s really good.”
The candid comments come as Pfeiffer returns to television in director Taylor Sheridan’s intimate new family drama The Madison, which explores love, resilience and the bonds that bind families.
The story unfolds between the rugged beauty of Montana and the vibrant pace of Manhattan.
For Pfeiffer, the series also marked a long-awaited on-screen reunion with Russell.
When asked why she felt this project was the perfect time to work together again, she joked, “Well, because I always want to be with Kurt.”
“I had a lot of fun working with him on Tequila Sunrise. To be honest, we didn’t have that many scenes together. I had so much fun working with him that I wanted to do more, and I never had the chance to do that until now.”
Their reunion went unnoticed by their other co-stars, who admitted it was a pinch sharing scenes with two Hollywood legends.
“We’re just trying to find our feet. Working with Michelle and Kurt is so surreal,” Elle Chapman said. “I mean, they’re both iconic, but they’re both very down-to-earth, wonderful people, and very welcoming. But it’s hard to get used to.”
Patrick J. Adams, known for his work on Suits, praised the duo’s subtle presence on set.
“I’m still getting used to it. They’re the best. I mean, they’re the best of the best,” Adams said. “Sure, like you said, they’re icons, but they’re also completely uninterested in you approaching them with that attitude. They’re very passionate about their craft. They love acting and they love the acting community.”
“They want to run the line, which is special,” added Amir Miller.
Cast members said watching Pfeiffer and Russell’s performance was a masterclass in acting.
“The only thing that brings them together is a sense of security,” Adams explained. “I’m never pushed. I’m never like, ‘I have to make this.’ … I don’t do a lot of big acting.” I’m kind of where I am now. I am in this moment. I’m reacting to the people around me. And I’m amazed at how simple it is, like a real craftsman. ”
Pfeiffer is an executive producer on the show and also plays Stacey, the powerful matriarch of the Clyburn family and mother of Paige (Chapman) and Abigail (Beau Garrett).
Russell is also an executive producer and stars as Preston Clyburn, the family’s charismatic patriarch and Stacey’s husband, bringing both presence and charm to the series’ central couple.
“The Madison” is available to stream on Paramount+. The final three episodes will premiere on March 21st.
