Production and distribution company Green Apple Entertainment has signed a four-film deal with AllBlock, AMC Networks’ popular streaming service for black TV and movies.
The thriller film “Long Time Listener” has been added to the lineup and will be released on April 2nd. The film marks the directorial debut of Daniel Nicolette (The Flash, Central Intelligence) and co-stars Megan Holder (Monarch, Pitch) and Lyric Bent (She’s Gotta Have It, Acrimony). The plot follows a true crime podcaster who becomes the target of a dangerous “longtime listener.”
In addition to “Long Time Listener,” the collaboration will also feature the romantic comedy “Wingman,” which will be released in October. The crime thriller “Night Sweats” and the romantic drama “A High Value Man”.
GreenApple’s new deal with AllBlk aims to put more emphasis on the streamer’s “female-led and culturally-resonant storytelling.”

“Long Time Listener” was produced by Green Apple’s Joe Narod, Jonathan Knosp, Roxanne Warren, Todd Warren, and Tim Warren in collaboration with Allbrock’s Brett Dismuke and Nikki Love.
