Alix Earle is still very emotional about her breakup with Braxton Berrios.
Last week, the 25-year-old influencer posted a sobbing TikTok of herself in response to a fan’s comment on her video, in which she talked about meeting Berrios for the first time since their breakup last year.
In Earl’s original video, posted on February 25, he admitted that it would be “really hard” and “really weird” to be reunited with Berrios at the event.
“The first night was really emotional,” she said. “We were in the same place, but we didn’t even say ‘hello’ to each other. I just didn’t want to go up and embarrass him, so I don’t know.”
She said they finally greeted each other “briefly” on the second night of the event.
“It’s weird to go from being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she said. “It was tough. And by tough, I mean terrible.”
A fan commented on her video: “You just explained the New Year’s Day lyrics 🥹😭,” referring to the 2017 song from Taylor Swift’s album Reputation.
Produced by Jack Antonoff, the song’s lyrics include: “Never be a stranger/The sound of familiar faces everywhere.”
Earl burst into tears in the comments on a reaction video shared on TikTok on Sunday.
“I didn’t know the song, so I just looked it up and said, ‘What’s the H?'” she said tearfully. “I’m literally turning purple from crying. I look like Barney.”

According to People magazine, Earl and Berrios, 30, attended the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado last month, specifically the Palm Tree pre-party at Kemo Sabe hosted by SipMARGS. Both ex-girlfriends are investors in the beverage brand.
Earl has been spotted having flirty interactions with Tom Brady, despite still being saddened by his split from Braxton after two years together.
Brady and Earl, 48, first sparked romance rumors during the New Year’s holiday when the two rang together in St. Barts in 2026. At the time, spies told Page Six that the two were at the same yacht party, hit it off, and talked “all night.”
Later, at a private Super Bowl party, Brady was photographed putting his arm around Earle and grabbing her butt. A source recently told Page Six that Brady and Earl are “having fun” in their budding romance, although it’s “not that serious.”
Sources said the retired football star was “very particular,” purposely a “perfectionist” and “doesn’t want to date anyone,” suggesting Earl was more than just randomly hooking up with sports icons.
