Mr. Morrone became an official Instagram account along with Mr. Bennett in May 2025.
Morrone publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2025, when she shared a series of Instagram Stories celebrating Bennett’s 29th birthday. In one image, she held Mr Bennett’s face and captioned it: “Happy birthday, baby.”
The birthday story marked the first time Morrone shared Bennett on social media.
A few days later, Morrone posted a carousel of photos of Bennett on Instagram on Instagram. She referenced their relationship in the caption, writing, “Posting a photo with your lover taped over your mouth isn’t exactly a thirst trap 🌴🌺.”

“This was really a passion project and something I could do in my spare time to be creative,” Bennett told Billboard in February 2024. “One thing led to another and I thought, ‘Wow, I’m being productive too. This isn’t just entertainment for me, this is something I can do too.’

“I’ve always been a very visual person, but I never knew I loved music videos,” Bennett told XXL in 2021. “Ever since I was little, I had this idea of what it would be like to make a music video.”
Speaking to Complex in December 2023, Bennett explained that his creative growth came from pushing himself outside of his comfort zone. “At many points in this process, I found myself feeling very uncomfortable and overwhelmed,” he said. “When you push your limits, you learn a lot about yourself and what you want to be better at.”
Reflecting on his creative approach, he told Billboard, “I think storytelling can be done in so many different ways. When I first started making music videos, it was a lot of point-and-shoot and then just having fun with editing. There was no storyline. I’d love to make a movie eventually. That’s my dream. But I’ve never liked trying to create a narrative within a music video.”
“Then I realized that you can tell stories in different ways,” he continued. “You can tell a story using a powerful color palette…and all of these worlds can coexist in a very deep and visually appealing way.”

Bennett was born and raised in Illinois.
Bennett grew up in Plano, Illinois, a town west of Chicago. As a teenager, he frequently visited the city to attend shows and soak up the local hip-hop scene.
“I was obsessed with Chance the Rapper, who was all the rage in town at the time,” Bennett told Rolling Stone in 2017.
Even then, he was already thinking ahead. “Eventually I’d like to do festivals. I’d like to take everything to the next level, but for now just keep doing what I’m doing and inspiring kids.”
