Sloane Stevens and Jozy Altidore are calling it quits, Page Six has exclusively learned.
The 2017 US Open champion and former English Premier League and MLS star have filed for divorce in Florida, sources said.
According to multiple sources, the two plan to “amicably part ways.”
The sporty couple tied the knot on January 1, 2022, at the oceanfront St. Regis Bal Harbor Resort in Miami Beach, Florida, People reported at the time.
Stevens, 32, and Altidore, 36, announced their engagement in April 2019, and have known each other since they were middle schoolers at Boca Prep in Florida.
When the couple got engaged in 2019, the United States Olympic Committee congratulated the couple, who are also Olympians.
Stevens returned to tennis in 2025 after suffering an injury setback. (She remained busy as a successful anchor for ESPN and TNT.) In January, she played in the Australian Open, but was eliminated in the first round.
She is scheduled to compete in the WTA 500 this month in Merida, Mexico.
Altidore recently reportedly invested in the Oklahoma City soccer team, along with OKC NBA great Russell Westbrook.
Representatives for the couple had no comment. But after we published our exclusive article, Stevens confirmed the news on Instagram.
In a lengthy statement, she said: “Georgie and I have decided to end our marriage. We will move through this transition in peace and with mutual respect. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time. Thank you for your love, understanding and continued support.”
