When Halle Berry emerged from the ocean in a bold orange bikini in 2002’s “Die Another Day,” she made fashion and film history.
“In our hearts, we’re living rent free,” Drew Barrymore told the actress on Tuesday’s talk show.
Valerie Bertinelli clearly agreed, and couldn’t resist asking Berry about the current whereabouts of La Perla swimwear.
“I just wanted to know…do you have a ‘James Bond’ bikini?” Bertinelli asked the actress.
“Yes!” Berry replied.
The Oscar winner spoke extensively about his unforgettable costumes over the years.
“We tried on a lot of swimsuits, a lot of bikinis, a lot of belts. This looks easy, but it was a whole situation of getting this little swimsuit right. We were able to choose the color and the right fit,” Berry told Vogue in 2021.
“We knew that because it happened in a Bond movie, it might end up being an iconic situation or something that would stick around for a very long time.”
And so it happened.
Speaking to Barrymore, the 59-year-old said: “I’ve never felt better in my life.”
A few years ago, Berry hit the beach in a bold orange bikini reminiscent of a Bond girl two-piece.
And while not in the same citrus hue, the actress recently celebrated her birthday with a series of bikini snaps, modeled in a series of two-pieces that left jaws on the floor.
Berry captioned the post: “This is 59 years old.”
