He has been dating Dua Lipa since 2023, and rumors of their relationship first sparked in March when they were photographed holding hands as they exited the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week.
The two made an official red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in May of the same year, but ultimately ended their relationship in December 2023 (Ripa is currently engaged to Callum Turner).

Who is Romain Gavras?
Mr. Gavras, 44, was born in Paris and is the son of Greek-French film director Costa-Gavras, so directing runs in the family, according to the Onassis Foundation. His recent credits include Sacrifice (2025) and Netflix’s Athena (2022), but he is also known for directing several popular music videos, including the 2012 MTV Video Music Award-winning video for MIA’s “Bad Girls.” In 2017, Jamie XX’s “Gosh (Version 2)” was once again nominated for Best Music Video at the same awards show. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2013 for directing Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean’s No Church in the Wild.
Gavras has also directed numerous advertising campaigns, including Louis Vuitton’s “Cour Batin,” Dior’s “J’adore: The New Absolute,” and Powerade’s “The Corner,” according to his IMDb page.
