Dolores Catania has condemned the recent betrayals of “traitors” and is not happy that the “housewives” are being deceived.
During an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star and “The Traitors” alum reacted to Season 4 contestant Rob Roush targeting sisters on the series (including “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Rinna and “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum Candiace Dillard Bassett) before ultimately “murdering” them. Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley.
“I wish he would have left the Housewives alone. Come on, don’t kick out the Housewives,” Catania told us with a laugh while promoting her partnership with Finish Jet Dry.
“I was the last Housewife[on Traitor season 3]. I knew what it felt like to be on an island. I knew what it felt like to not have that camaraderie. I was the last Housewife for a lot longer than Dorinda.”
Catania, who won last season of the unscripted Peacock hit, knows firsthand how isolated fellow Bravolebs feel when they’re sent packing. It was nerve-wracking to see Rob attack Rinna and Dillard Bassett before setting his sights on the medley.
“So here’s the problem: Traitors and traitors are always in the best interests,” she explained. “Evil can never stay with evil. You’ll find it in your life, and you’ll find it across the board. And that was the biggest advice my mother gave me before I left for ‘Traitor.'”
In true Catania fashion, that wisdom came from home, even though her mother, Valerie Spagnola, wasn’t a huge fan of the series starring Alan Cumming.
“She’s never seen ‘Traitor’ and she doesn’t have a peacock. My mom probably knows, but she doesn’t know,” Catania said jokingly. “So I explained it to my mom, and she said, ‘Mom, how do I know who is the murderer and who is the traitor?'” She says, “It’s easy.” When you have more than one, you end up fighting because you can’t be together. ”
According to Catania, Rob’s decision to go after his own kind, first Rinna and then Dillard Bassett, was a red flag.
“That’s the greatest payback,” she repeated, suggesting that betrayal between two traitors never ends well.
As for Medley, Catania had been closely following her friend’s progress after the “RHONY” legend was eliminated early on during his first stint on the show.
“I’m so happy that Dorinda has lived this long,” Catania said. “While she was there, I kept calling her phone to see if it went to voicemail. I wanted to make sure of that.”
She added that this time the medley was played “very discreetly and very carefully.” Catania added that she clearly respected this strategy after navigating through the castle herself.
When she’s not analyzing reality show strategies, Catania is holding court at home and making sure everything is sparkling bright for her guests. The Jersey native recently teamed up with Finish Jet Dry, and considering her open-door policy, this collaboration makes perfect sense.
“You know, I come from a big Italian family. When they want to come to the house, the first thing they do is eat,” she said. “And I have friends. It’s an open door policy here.”
However, constant hosting has led to the embarrassing problem of cloudy dishes fresh from the dishwasher.

“There are many times when I have to take out the dishes to feed everyone, and the dishes end up with residue and look bad,” she admitted. “I have to wash it quickly while I’m doing this. It’s embarrassing.”
After searching Google for a solution, Catania found Finish Jet-Dry. And I haven’t looked back since.
“It removes dish residue from the dishwasher. So it’s become a staple,” she said. “Now you’ve solved your problem. Everything will be sparkling clean. You won’t have to wipe anything down. You won’t have to rewash anything. Everything will be ready to go.”
