Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to her ’90s roots.
Last weekend, the actress attended the Santa Barbara Film Festival wearing a fresh take on one of her most iconic looks.
For this event, she chose a pink silk Prada set that was reminiscent of her iconic bubblegum-colored Ralph Lauren dress on the 1999 Oscars red carpet.
Paltrow’s pale pink outfit boasted a miniskirt with a long train at the back, which she paired with a matching bandeau crop top.
Over the top, she layered a fully sheer pink spaghetti strap tank with visible seams, inspired by popular trends from the ’90s and early ’20s.
Paltrow added matching Christian Louboutin pumps to her monochrome look and wore nearly $40,000 worth of Hearts on Fire diamonds, including long drop earrings ($24,000) and two rings totaling $8,400 and $6,400.
The Marty Supreme actress, 53, attended an event to present her longtime friend Kate Hudson with the Arlington Award, and the two were coordinating in the same color palette. The latter wore a pale pink and gold beaded Louis Vuitton dress.
The actress spoke to People magazine about her friendship with Paltrow, explaining, “We lived in England at the same time, and she was a huge support system for me and my son,” adding, “She was always there for me, like the most loyal and beautiful friend. And I look up to her.”
Hudson also expressed her gratitude on Instagram, writing, “Thank you to my beautiful friend @gwynethpaltrow for being there and for making me cry with her words!”
Paltrow echoed similar sentiments in her speech, saying, “She’s like a sister to me. I’m much older than her, but I remember meeting her when she was little.”
We can’t wait to see these two blonde bombshells on the 2026 Oscars red carpet.
