Jess Coulter, commercial director of production company Oh Positive Films, has signed Gersh to represent him.
Coulter is the only woman to have directed four Super Bowl commercials, and her latest will be aired during NBC’s Super Bowl LX telecast on Sunday. She also has a background in writing, acting, and directing improv scripts and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade and The Pit in New York City, as well as writing and still photography.
Her work at the Super Bowl includes the AT&T ad “A Lot in Common” featuring Demi Moore and Mila Kunis, and she has also co-starred with Scarlett Johansson and Dan Marino in various ads. Other commercial work includes Nick Offerman, Maya Rudolph, Wanda Sykes, and Amy Poehler, and campaigns for brands such as IKEA, Dunkin’, Progressive Insurance, Twix, CDW, and Netflix, as well as Ben & Jerry’s.
Coulter is expanding into narrative filmmaking with a focus on directing film and television projects. She recently wrote and directed a short film, The Poster, starring Bridget Moloney, which is playing on the festival circuit.
Previously, he was the award-winning Creative Director at Omnicom Group’s BBDO New York. Her work has been recognized with Cannes Lions, One Show Pencil, CLIOS, Effies, and AICP honors. She was also recognized as a “Next Creative Leader” by The 3% Conference and The One Club.
Prior to coaching, Coulter was an NFL cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks.
Gersh represents clients across film, television, sports, theater, comedy, branding, publishing and digital media. After nearly 75 years of family ownership, the company sold a minority stake to Crestview Partners in 2023.
