“One Battle After Another” added to a growing list of statuettes at London’s Mayfair Hotel on Sunday night, taking home four honors at the 46th London Critics Circle Film Awards.

In addition to the film of the year award, Paul Thomas Anderson was named director of the year and screenwriter of the year, and Sean Penn won the gong for best supporting actor.

Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet chose the perfect weekend to stop by the British capital for some Q&A ahead of his Best Actor of the Year award for Marty Supreme (his last win was 2018’s Call Me by Your Name). Jessie Buckley won best actress for “Hamnet.”

Elsewhere, Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actress for Weapons, while Netflix’s smash hit Kpop Demon Hunters, which was not eligible for the BAFTAs, became perhaps the only UK mainland honor to win.

In addition to the main winners, Cynthia Erivo won the Derek Malcolm Award for Innovation for her career-spanning films including Widows, Harriet, Bad Times at the El Royale and Wicked, and Guillermo del Toro won the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film.

The London Critics Circle Film Awards are voted for by 207 members of the Film Section of the Critics Circle, Britain’s oldest and most prestigious critics’ body.
