Ryan Seacrest fans are concerned about the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host after a clip from the show went viral on Instagram last week.
In a Jan. 23 video, the 51-year-old congratulated Vanna White, who married John Donaldson earlier this month.
“That’s Ryan Seacrest??? No way. No way,” one fan wrote via X.
Another claimed: “Ryan Seacrest looks like a completely different person.”
One theorized that the multiple hyphenation was played by the actor, asking for the “real Ryan Seacrest to come forward” and pointing out that “Ryan doesn’t even sound like he cares if he doesn’t look like him.”
One netizen wrote, “Ryan Seacrest is like a shell of his former self. What’s going on in the name of Ozempic?”
Others defended Seacrest, claiming, “He’s just getting older.”
Many compared his slimmed-down look to what Chadwick Boseman looked like when he was privately battling cancer.
“[Boseman]was brutally body shamed during his personal battle with his illness, and when he left this earth[in 2020]everyone who talked about him felt like shit,” one fan wrote.
“I don’t know if Ryan Seacrest is sick or not, but it’s a choice to make fun of his appearance or just keep quiet instead of praying for him.”
Representatives for Seacrest did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The Emmy Award winner sparked similar comments in July 2025 when he posted a photo of his “recently” noticeably thinner life.
Four months later, Seacrest showed off his muscles in a video in which he performed bicep curls in a T-shirt and shorts.
“The trick is to wear a T-shirt two sizes smaller,” he joked in the caption for a November 2025 workout.
The previous year, Seacrest admitted to “exercising too much, eating better, and training too much” before turning 50.
“I’m doing everything I can to feel like I’m not 50,” he told Entertainment Tonight in December 2024. “Anything I can do to make myself 29 again.”
Seacrest’s therapy at the time included “a lot of muscle recovery, cold plunges, and steam therapy.”
