David Beckham’s alleged mistress Rebecca Luce has slammed Victoria Beckham for her “inappropriate” dancing at her son Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz.
The footballer’s former personal assistant has addressed the ongoing Beckham family feud in the Channel 4 documentary The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies, which is set to premiere on Sunday.
Regarding claims that Marc Anthony encouraged Brooklyn to dance with her mother, she said in a clip obtained by the Daily Mail, “It doesn’t matter if it came from her or Marc Anthony, because it shows a lack of awareness of other people’s feelings.”
“I think any other mother would have read the room, understood that this was awkward, and said, ‘Thank you for the compliment, but the most beautiful woman in the room is Nicola, Nicola, please do this dance.’
“Or at least if the mother had had a few too many glasses of wine and couldn’t read the atmosphere in the room, perhaps the husband or father would have intervened, grabbed Nicola and spun her around, swapping partners and making her dance.”
She claims Brooklyn’s confession is a form of “validation” of her alleged affair with David, which the former footballer previously denied.
“Suddenly you’re in a huge PR battle. In a very small way, of course, this vindicates what I said 22 years ago and came forward and spoke out,” she says.
“Brooklyn is basically making sure that the inauthentic relationship, the promotional value, the endorsement above all else, and that it’s all focused on the Beckham brand and that’s all that matters.”
Representatives for David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
On January 19, Brooklyn was forced to confirm rumors of her separation from her family, issuing a scathing statement on social media saying she had no intention of “reconciling” with them.
Besides accusing his parents of being “controlling,” photographer-turned-chef Marc Anthony claimed he asked him to come on stage for what was likely to be his first dance with his bride at their 2022 Palm Beach wedding.
However, the Puerto Rican singer then allegedly called Brooklyn “the most beautiful woman there” before confirming that he had called Victoria, 51.
Brooklyn then accused her mother of “inappropriately” dancing on her, making Brooklyn “humiliated” and “uncomfortable.”
Additionally, as part of the list of violations, Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria, who allegedly had “no patience” with Peltz for some time, also canceled the production of his wife’s wedding dress at the last minute, further proving her claim that Peltz was “consistently disrespected” by the Beckhams “no matter how hard we tried to come together.”
He also accused his family of trying to “endlessly ruin” his relationship with Peltz, 31.
After Brooklyn first issued a statement, Loos quickly took sides in the conflict and supported Brooklyn and his wife.
“I’m so happy he’s standing up for himself and finally being able to speak out publicly!!! I felt so bad because I know what his poor wife must be like!” Ruth said in her Instagram post, referring to Brooklyn’s spouse.
In another comment, she wrote, “The truth will always come out.”
