Angelina Jolie’s son Pax made a rare appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The 22-year-old attended a screening of the film Self Custody on Friday, posing alongside director Garrett Patten and producer Fernando Ferro.
For the low-key outing, Pax kept it casual in a red checked overshirt layered with a black T-shirt.
According to TMZ, Pax may follow in her mother’s footsteps and pursue filmmaking. After discussing future projects with Mr. Ferro and Mr. Patten, he was invited to Sundance, where he “performed very well.”
Pax became known to Hollywood after being adopted by Jolie in 2007 at the age of three.
Pax and his five siblings often attended red carpets and events with Jolie and Brad Pitt, who adopted him in 2008.
He also appeared in his mother’s 2014 film Maleficent and voiced the character Yu in his mother’s 2016 film Kung Fu Panda 3. However, he seems much more comfortable behind the camera.
Page Six exclusively reported in January 2023 that Pax was secretly a “digital and mixed media” artist working under the pseudonym Embbut, but Jolie’s rep denied this.
Talk to Mr. E! News at the AFI premiere of her 2024 film Maria, she explained that her children are “particularly shy, very private people.”
“And they want to be private.”
Apart from Pax, Jolie and Pitt, who divorced in 2019, also have children Maddox, 24, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17.
However, all of his children have lost contact with Pitt, and some have even given up on his last name.
