“We were just introduced by friends,” the 50-year-old hypnotherapist said while promoting his upcoming book, “Book of Possibility.”
“That was it. We found out we had mutual friends and we just started chatting.”
Co-host Craig Melvin asked if Friends characters Joey or Ross were behind the matchup.
“All the stars of Friends,” Curtis joked, before clarifying that they “talked for a long time” and “got close.”
“It’s been a long time coming,” he said, but declined to answer questions about exactly how long he and the actress have been an item.
“It’s been a long time,” Curtis told Melvin. “It’s been months, almost a year.”
When a journalist joked that Curtis was “a little blushing” and should not put it “on the spot,” Curtis admitted, “Okay, yeah. I certainly think so.”
He and Aniston, 56, were first spotted together in Spain with A-list friends during their summer holiday last year.

Curtis also shared a similar photo at the time, writing, “If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up ❤️.”
Later that month, Aniston praised her “extraordinary” partner in an interview with Elle, calling her “so special, so ordinary, so sweet.”
The “Morning Show” star has been married twice before, to actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, the latter of whom married Curtis last year.
The “Leftovers” alum, who split from pregnant wife Nicole Brydon Bloom, made headlines after he “liked” Aniston and Kritz’s hard launch on Instagram.
As for his love life, Curtis is divorced from Rachel Napolitano, with whom he has a teenage son named Aidan.
