Karen Huger is home after six months in prison.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star, 62, reunited with loved ones as cameras rolled after being released from prison in an emotional preview of the Bravo series’ latest episode.
A clip from the episode, titled “Karen Comes Home,” shows Huger, who was released early in September after being convicted of drunk driving, returning home and reuniting with her daughter Ravin, husband Ray Huger, and sister Bridget.
Before Karen’s arrival, her family decorated their home with balloons, flowers and a “Welcome Home” sign. Once inside, Karen was given her first hug by Rayvin, and then the rest of the family surrounded her.
“I told you this too would end,” Bridget told her sister.

“I just wanted to go home and see you all,” Karen told her family, then turned to her daughter and gave her message only to her.
“And I want to tell you, I couldn’t do it,” she said. “I couldn’t have done it without you. I love women like you. I never meant for you to see me that way, but I’m glad you did, because there’s truth and strength in it.”
Karen then turned to Bridget and praised her for her “intervention.” As for her husband, Karen told Ray through a “glass window” that “dating you was fun.”

“I got them,” she added of some of the young women she was in prison with. “I was able to reach out to some of them. I thought, ‘It took me 60 years to get here, so why am I here at 20 years old?’
She concluded, “So, I found a purpose. I found a purpose and I’m happy with it. We’ll talk about that later.”
She asked for the cameras to be turned off as she went upstairs to take a shower and “wash off the prison.”
The RHOP star was arrested in March 2024 and charged with DUI and DWI, including operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life, or person, and operating a vehicle recklessly with willful disregard for the safety of person or property.
She was found guilty by a Maryland jury in December on all charges except reckless driving. She then entered a private recovery program in Florida, later explaining that she wanted to “get to the bottom” of “taking antidepressants and drinking alcohol.” The RHOP star was sentenced to two years in prison, one year suspended, and five years suspended.
Cullen was eventually released early from the Montgomery County Detention Center in Maryland on September 2nd. In November, she attended BravoCon in Las Vegas, making her first public appearance since the holidays.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs Sundays at 8pm ET on Bravo, and episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
