Top Chef winner Kelsey Bernard Clark’s divorce was finalized weeks before she was arrested on DUI charges, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
The chef’s divorce from her ex-husband, Devers Woodham Clark, who works in the public safety agency, was settled on December 29, 2025, according to Alabama court documents.
Kelsey, 36, filed for divorce in May 2025.
Meanwhile, Devers, 41, moved out of her parents’ home less than two months later, public records show.
The former couple, who wed in Florida in April 2015, agreed to share custody of their two children, son Monroe, 8, and daughter June, 5.
On Wednesday night, Kelsey was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence with her children in the car.
Lt. Scott Owens, public information officer for the Dothan Police Department, told Page Six that officers responded to a call after Kelsey allegedly crashed his car into a mailbox in a residential area.
Owens said responding officers observed signs of impairment and conducted a breathalyzer test, which determined Kelsey was “unsafe to operate a vehicle.”
She was then taken into custody and booked into the Dothan City Jail.
Local news outlet WBRC reported that Monroe and Evelyn were in the car when the incident occurred.
According to reports, no one was injured in the accident and the children were returned home with their families.
The Dothan Police Department later released Kelsey’s photo on its website as part of its daily arrest summary, and also listed her charge as “driving under the influence (alcohol).”
Hours before her arrest, Kelsey posted a video on Instagram documenting her life as a working mother.
Her representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
After winning Season 16 of Bravo’s Top Chef in 2019, Kelsey appeared as a judge on Netflix’s Next Generation Chef, which premiered in September 2025.
