Bebe Rexha is presenting a new and improved version of herself for 2026.
The pop star shared a cheeky “ins and outs” list on Instagram on Thursday, January 22, promising to shed the “old” version of herself and upgrade to a “hotter, richer” and more “confident” version of herself.
Lexa, 36, wrote a list on a whiteboard with a blue marker, and in an Instagram photo, she stood in front of the board wearing sunglasses and a gray sweatshirt, holding the marker up to the camera.
On the left, the Grammy-nominated star described the “old” Bebe as “a victim, a people-pleaser, a screaming, violent person who punched her in the face at concerts and put on more weight.”
This column was completely crossed out with an X, and the right side focused on the “new” thing she was showing. “I’m unapologetically hotter, richer, more confident, and I don’t have a bad attitude.”

Lexa also updated her Instagram bio to read “#EXTRADIRTY” and linked to a new website called Are U Dirty? The site has words written in bright pink letters and an opportunity for fans to sign up to “swear” Lexa.
The comment, “I got assaulted in the face at a concert,” is a reference to an incident in 2023 when Lexa was struck in the forehead by a cell phone thrown by a fan at a show in New York City. The incident left him with a torn eyebrow and a black eye, which required stitches at the hospital.
Her preview of a new era comes three years after the release of her third album, BeBe, which included the singles “Heart Wants What It Wants,” “Call on Me,” and “Satellite.”
Lexa released her single “I’m the Drama” at Coachella in 2024, and in December she made headlines for asking fans to help find her “daddy’s baby.”

“This is what I’m looking for,” she wrote to X. “Appearance: 6 or 7 is fine (personality is important to me). Height: I don’t need someone tall. I just need to be taller than me. 5’8 or above. Work: Must be successful. Not grouchy. Must be wealthier than me. Don’t pay men or do it 50/50. Someone with good character. Good morals, smart, send me options.”
Earlier this month, Lexa told fans that she recently formed a partnership with independent music company Empire after releasing her previous albums on Warner.
“They believe and they are amazing,” she wrote to X.
In a statement shared with Variety, Lexa said that although she is best known as a pop artist, she has always considered herself “first and foremost a singer-songwriter.”
“Being independent and partnering with Empire was more than just a business move for me. They believed in my vision and trusted my instincts, which energized my creativity. This new era is about embracing every part of me, even when I’m confused,” she said. “This version of me is unapologetically comfortable in my own lane. I’m excited to go beyond music and invite people even deeper into my world. I’m doing this for my mom, my fans, and little Bebe.”
