Morena Baccarin may be married to “The OC” star Ben McKenzie, but she was never “Ryan Atwood’s groupie.”
“I wasn’t. I wasn’t a big fan,” she sheepishly confessed to Page Six at the premiere of “The Wrecking Crew” in New York City on Thursday night.
After shockingly confessing that he had never watched the show, Baccarin said he connected with Mackenzie because of who he was, rather than his role as hunky Ryan Atwood.
Despite not watching the show when it first came out, she admitted that the series is “making a fun comeback.”
“I think it’s amazing,” she exclaimed.
Mackenzie, 47, and Baccarin, 46, met in real life on the set of Gotham in 2014.
The couple welcomed daughter Frances in 2016 and married a year later.
The couple then welcomed son Arthur in 2021.
Baccarin also has a son, Julius, with ex-husband Austin Chick.
The “Homeland” alumnus will soon be seen in “The Wrecking Crew,” starring Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa as estranged half-brothers who reunite to solve the mystery surrounding their father’s unexpected death.
Naturally, the “Deadpool” star loved filming with the duo.
“It was amazing. When we shot the car scenes, we were in the car together for five days…the banter, the camaraderie,” she gushed, noting that despite their mountainous builds, they were both “big, sweet people.”
