Finn Wolfhard’s “SNL” monologue was crashed by two of his most famous co-stars.
Wolfhard’s Stranger Things co-stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo also joined Wolfhard’s monologue to talk about growing up on screen and how they’re now adults.
“My voice changed in front of the camera, my first kiss was in front of the camera, and the first time I knew what a woman looked like over there, and it looked the same there,” cuts to a Demogorgon howl.
Unfortunately, he didn’t like the taste of alcohol and spit out his first drink onto Marcelo Hernandez.
Then the boys come out and talk about how weird it has been growing up on screen and all the things people would say about them on Reddit. But in the end, they joked that they were ready to star in an “adult film.”
Later in the episode, a sketch looked at what would happen in some of the Stranger Things spin-offs, including the Sex and the City-style series Mike in Manhattan starring Wolfhard, McLaughlin, and Matarazzo. Will’s long coming out scene was also filmed in the sketch, which he said is still ongoing. It also included Nancy’s news show, “The Wheeler Report,” and a spin-off starring Steve Harrington as an inner-city teacher.
The sketch also included a scene from episode 9 that is rumored to have started the Internet conspiracy theory.
