Meghan Markle rode a viral social media trend in 2016 with a romantic video featuring Prince Harry.
The “As Ever” founder was seen dancing on a vast lawn with her husband in a black-and-white video clip posted on Instagram on Friday.
She went barefoot for the impromptu dance session, wearing a white T-shirt and casual shorts.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex led his wife into a dance in a T-shirt and shorts, culminating in him lifting her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
At one point, Harry, 41, dropped the mother-of-two into the water as she danced in the sunlight.
She added Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” as the soundtrack to the clip.
A second slide shows what appears to be an old photo of the couple embracing in a pond, with Prince Harry wearing olive shorts and a shawl, and Markle wearing a turquoise wrap over her bathing suit.
“When 2026 feels like 2016… you had to be there,” the Duchess of Sussex, 44, captioned the upload.
She added of Princess Lilibet, 4, “🎥Credit: Our daughter.”
The nostalgic social media post comes just days after royal author Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly that Prince Harry is “somewhat insecure” about his high-profile life with the Suits alum.
The couple famously stepped down as members of the royal family in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California, to raise their family after welcoming six-year-old Prince Archie.
“He suffers from severe social anxiety,” Anderson told the outlet. In contrast, “Meghan is more accepting of that life,” he claimed.
While the author claimed that Prince Harry is “content” with his family life, he also claimed that the Duke of Sussex has had moments of sadness.
“Would it be painful for Harry to be severely excluded from royal family gatherings like Christmas at Sandringham? Of course it is,” he said.
Anderson pointed out that Prince Harry is bound to regret it because “neither he nor his children share the royal heritage.”
But a source claimed that Prince Harry, who married the former actress in 2018, is happy to escape the scrutiny of British tabloids and life as a royal.
“Harry is very happy in his private life,” a source told the outlet. “Despite his upbringing (as a royal), he was never comfortable in that environment. He feels more like himself here.”
The “With Love, Meghan” host frequently highlights her ongoing romance with her husband, who continues to pursue independence in the states.
In November, she shared a video of her viral 2013 thirst trap while in Afghanistan in honor of Veterans Day.
Previously, in June, she paid tribute to Prince Harry on Father’s Day, writing that he was the “best” father to Prince Archie and Princess Lilybet and was their “favorite man”.
