Orlando Bloom celebrated his 49th birthday on the Aspen dance floor, fist-pumping “like a New Jersey guy” while surrounded by power gays.
Sources told Page Six that Bloom, who split from fiancée Katy Perry over the summer, was spotted cutting a rug at the exclusive Caribou Club with socialite Jamie Tisch, who is married to billionaire Steve, and their friends.
The hotspot previously hosted dinners for AspenOut, a nonprofit LGBTQIA+ (Q+) community, and the chic members-only club held informal after-parties that continued late into the night.
According to one source, Bloom was “the life of the party” in a crowd our sources described as “elite gays from Hollywood, Palm Beach and New York” who were in town for Gay Ski Week.
“He was on the dance floor for about three hours, leading a conga line,” says a spy of the British-born “Lord of the Rings” actor. “He’s a good dancer and he raises his arms and fist pumps like a guy from New Jersey.”
“People were sending bullets to him left and right,” the source said. “He was celebrating his birthday.”
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star Tom Felicia, Brian Lard’s husband Bruce Bozzi, producer and Aspen Snowball founder Thomas Pearce, Bravo star Rene Frith, and Barry’s Bootcamp Executive Chairman Joey Gonzalez were among those on the scene.
Bloom and Perry (who has since dated former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau) used to visit a ski resort in Colorado every year.
Bloom and Perry have been together for nearly 10 years and share a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
A source recently told People magazine that “they’re both very passionate about keeping this family vibrant” and that “everything is friendly and very easy going.”
