Who should I call? Victoria de Lesseps.
Luann de Lesseps’ daughter is now a medium and healer, and she once chased a ghost out of the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum’s home.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Victoria detailed how she realized her true calling and how it has helped her and her mother.
“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been seeing ghosts. Probably around the age of six or seven, I was seeing strange dark energies. Also as a teenager,” the 31-year-old told Us, claiming that her late paternal grandmother was a “white witch” who practiced paresthesia.
Victoria said her paranormal experiences “dissipated” until a “series of events” including a breakup “brought the trauma out” and “led to a turnaround” for her.
At the time, about “three or four years ago,” the Pratt Institute graduate had also begun writing a series of novels in a fantasy trilogy about “shamanic characters,” “oracles,” and “healers” living in “another world.”
It was also around this time that Victoria, who was also an artist, spoke frankly about her struggles to the owner of the gallery where she was exhibiting her work.
“I was very open about it, and she said, ‘You should go see my healer, Lisa,'” she recalled.
Victoria said of her “extreme” first session with Lisa, “I could see everything that was going on. She was stripping me of things that weren’t mine. There was a lot of cleansing going on. And then I saw this very tall – you know, now, spirit guide – standing next to me, big, kind of native, hiding in the shadows with a big jaguar.”
Victoria was “very, very scared and distraught at the time”, but Lisa saw something special in her and encouraged her to train in the field.
“I always say I’ve been kicking and screaming throughout this process. I’m so grateful and I really love it, but I never saw it coming,” she admitted.
One day, Victoria and her classmates were having a one-on-one mediumship training session with someone at Luann’s Hamptons home when they saw a ghost.
“The door wasn’t ‘open,’ but it opened with an ethereal sound, and[the ghost]came in, and[my classmates]were like, ‘Hey, there’s a ghost in your house! It looks like you just opened the door.’ And I thought, ‘Oh, he’s here,'” she told us.
Victoria went on to say, “My mother was actually involved in it for a while,” and was then asked a series of questions.
“She was in her room, and she pushed the book, and it got pushed back, and she pushed it back in,” the former model elaborated, adding that the ghost “wasn’t very nice back in the day.”
“I would walk up the stairs at night and look down and think, ‘Oh, I see something up there,'” she recalled.
“One day I came home and I didn’t live here anymore. When I went in at night, I heard a voice saying, ‘I don’t live here anymore!’ And I thought, ‘Oh!’ I’ll be back in the morning! ”
However, Victoria takes time to understand this ghost, and eventually the ghost also “warms” to her.
“We changed rooms because we were spending more time at home. … It was a guest room, so there wasn’t really anyone there. And I felt like there was something about (his) wife. For example, he lived here before, so he was just kind of relaxing in the house,” she explained.
After a while, the two “talked casually,” she said.
“I was like, ‘Oh, you want to go home? Are you ready to leave?’ And I think he just left because he’s not here anymore,” she shared, prompting us to ask how she knows that to be the case.
“Because I can meet him,” she answered.
Now Victoria helps ghosts “move on” on a very regular basis.
“When some ghosts experience a traumatic death, such as a murder, they get stuck and can’t move on, because sometimes they need someone to help them. They need witnesses. They need to share their stories,” she explained.
Another approach, she noted, is to “invite their loved ones, guardians, and spirit guides to help them move forward.”
Victoria offers a variety of services including mediumship readings, past life readings, tarot card readings, and healing sessions.
