Later that day, Giannulli attended a screening of Elordi’s Frankenstein and was also photographed having dinner with Giannulli and his parents, Rainey Gossip reported.

As the photos spread on social media, a source spoke to Us Weekly about the true status of the couple’s relationship after their split in October.
“They never really stopped talking,” the source elaborated. “They have been texting and checking in. Whenever Jacob is in New York, they plan to meet up. Olivia spends most of her time in New York, and they always keep in touch when he is in New York.”
At this time, the source added, the two are “not putting any labels on[their relationship]or dating seriously. There are still strong feelings between them and they enjoy spending time together. Distance is always an issue, but there’s a lot of love there.” The source added that Giannulli has also been “relying on him a lot” since his parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli announced their separation in October.
Later that month, she and Elordi broke up, with a source telling People magazine, “It’s completely over. They have no intention of getting back together. She’s not upset about her breakup with Jacob, but she’s more upset about what’s going on with her father.”
