Jude Law and Andrew Garfield transform into the legendary illusionist duo Siegfried and Roy.
The actors were almost unrecognizable during the filming of the upcoming series, which is based on the life of a famous Los Angeles magician. Photos from the set showed Loh, 53, who stars as Siegfried Fischbacher, sporting a platinum blonde mullet, an oversized aviator and a leather jacket.
Meanwhile, Garfield, 42, who plays Roy Horne, wore a more daring ensemble. In this photo, Garfield wore a black flat cap, light sunglasses, and a bright blue blazer, in addition to his soul patch and long hair.

The duo’s upcoming AppleTV series is based on their podcast “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.”
According to the official logline, the show will chronicle “the story of the wild ride between two of history’s greatest showmen and magicians who, along with the White Tiger, are tasked with transforming Sin City into a family-friendly destination,” Variety reported. “This duo pushes the notions of fantasy and reality to the extreme, both personally and professionally, until tragedy is reconstructed and the mystery surrounding the fateful Las Vegas show is revealed.”
The famous illusionists, best known for their Las Vegas shows at the Mirage Resort and Casino, first met in 1957 while working on a cruise ship.
Then Horn, Fischbacher’s assistant, suggested incorporating the cheetah into the performance. They then toured, playing small clubs, and got their big break in 1967 at a casino in Paris. A producer in the audience invited them to Las Vegas to try out their songs, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

As their success continued, the illusionists opened their famous show “Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage” in Las Vegas in February 1990, which ran until October 2003. Tiger shared the name Montecore on stage with Fischbacher. The assault occurred on Horne’s 59th birthday.
The two last bowed together in 2009. Years later, in 2020, Horn passed away from complications related to COVID-19. Eight months later, in January 2021, Fischbacher died of pancreatic cancer.
AppleTV has released few details about the miniseries and has not announced a premiere date.
