Blake Lively reportedly called her New York City penthouse “Buckingham Palace.”
According to former co-star Justin Baldoni, the actress requested a meeting there while she was filming the 2024 film It Ends with Us.
“As she said, we called it Buckingham Palace because so many famous people passed through there,” he said during a deposition in Los Angeles last October, according to a transcript obtained by People magazine.
“I believe it was her office in her penthouse apartment, where Ms. Lively requested that she attend all of our meetings.”
Representatives for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Lively’s penthouse is the focus of the two stars’ ongoing legal battle after Baldoni, 41, insisted that Lively, 38, hold work meetings there.
Unsealed text messages released earlier this month revealed that Baldoni said he met with Lively at her home to discuss revisions to the script. He also claimed that the actress was “setting a trap for him” by refusing to use Kagemusha for a sex scene in the movie “It Ends with Us.”
In a November 2024 court filing, Ms. Baldoni also wrote in a text message that Ms. Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, “ambushed” her at their New York City apartment in January 2024 and left her “emotionally numb.”
“Ryan was talking to me like a 5-year-old and scolding me,” Baldoni wrote in an email to actor Rainn Wilson, recalling an incident she claims took place the night before.
“They essentially said that Jamie (Heath) and I were not who we claimed to be and that doing the podcast was dangerous because it would make people think we were safe.”
Lively filed a formal lawsuit against the director in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and lost wages.
At the time, Baldoni responded with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds, but the suit was later dismissed.
A trial date for this case is set for May 18, 2026.
