The 32nd Slamdance Film Festival has announced its complete lineup for 2026, consisting of 141 films, 50 of which will be world premieres. Slamdance, which will be held in Los Angeles for the second year in a row, will be held in-person from February 19th to 25th and virtually through the Slamdance Channel from February 24th to March 6th.

Screenings will be held at the Directors Guild of America, Landmark Sunset, and 2220 Arts, with the closing ceremony at the Egyptian Theater. In addition to hosting screenings and events, the DGA will also serve as the festival’s headquarters.

This year’s film lineup includes submissions from more than 50 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iceland, Iran, Palestine, Spain, Sudan, and Vietnam. According to the festival, 50% of films in 2026 will be directed by women, transgender and non-binary directors, and 41.4% of this year’s films will be by BIPOC creators. Additionally, 9.7% of Slamdance’s programs are created by creators with visible and invisible disabilities.

“At a time when our industry faces real uncertainty, Slamdance remains deeply committed to supporting filmmakers and uniting our community,” said Slamdance co-founder Peter Baxter. “This year’s Slamdance program celebrates filmmakers from around the world and the discovery of new artists who will shape the future of our culture. By offering free industry programs and creating space for meaningful conversations, we are supporting artists, sharing new ideas in filmmaking, and working together to strengthen independent film.”
