Briana “Chickenfry” LaPaglia thinks it’s “really romantic” of Zach Bryan to release several diss tracks aimed at her on his new album, With Heaven on Top.
The Barstool Media personality referenced Taylor Swift on her Instagram Stories on Friday, mocking the country music crooner for her sharp lyrical choices.
She reposted Swift’s song “Actually Romantic” from Spotify and played the lyrics, “The time you spend on me is so sweet. Honestly, it’s wild.”
Representatives for the “Something in the Orange” hitmaker did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Bryan appears to have referenced LaPaglia, 26, in several songs featured on his new project, released Friday.
Namely, in the song “Skin,” he sings about “never touching” another person’s skin again and “putting a knife” in his tattoo to “drain the blood between me and you.”
“How do tattoos penetrate the skin?” he continued. “Do your higher places ever sink? / Do you love people just to win when it’s over?”
It is worth noting that the “Special Forces” star says: “How lucky are we?” She has a tattoo on her arm that Brian later referred to as the line “28.”
In the second half of the new song, Brian sings, “Are you still talking bad about all your friends? / Now you’ve got to take it all in your chin with a stone-cold sobriety.”
He also seemed to mention the former couple’s 2023 meet-cute, which took place after Brian’s concert in Queens, in “Plastic Cigarettes.”
Right now, it looks like Swift could be the star of LaPaglia’s playlist. She also used another Swift song titled “Mastermind” to heavily snarl at her ex-boyfriend after he announced he had married Samantha Leonard.
She recorded herself on TikTok saying the lyrics “Checkmate, I couldn’t lose” aloud.
LaPaglia dated Brian, 29, from 2023 until they broke up in 2024. LaPaglia then accused her ex-lover of emotional abuse, claiming that Bryan offered her $12 million in “blood money” to sign a non-disclosure agreement after they broke up.
She said she declined the proposal.
