Brooklyn Beckham reportedly has surprisingly good relationships with his family of four, despite being banned from contacting his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
According to US Sun, 26-year-old Brooklyn spoke on the phone and exchanged text messages with David’s parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra Georgina West, and Victoria’s parents, Anthony and Jackie Adams.
“Brooklyn loves them dearly and knows how much pain this is causing everyone,” a source told the outlet on Thursday.
“So he reached out in his own time, but he tried to be low-key so as not to involve them.”
The source added that the social media chef is “doing his best to overcome this soul-crushing family feud,” noting that “it’s not easy for anyone.”
Meanwhile, his wife, Nicola Peltz, reportedly “remains his absolute rock.”
In mid-December, Victoria, 51, liked one of Brooklyn’s Instagram videos of her cooking beer-battered chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables.
The likes prompted commenters to plead with Brooklyn to reconcile with his father and mother, but the message had the opposite effect.
Brooklyn has since blocked both Spice Girls-turned-fashion designer and former soccer player, 50, as well as her 20-year-old brother Cruz Beckham, who had criticized Brooklyn on Instagram amid an ongoing family feud.
Brooklyn went ahead and blocked her other siblings, 23-year-old brother Romeo Beckham (Brooklyn’s relationship with ex Kim Turnbull sparked a falling out last year) and 14-year-old sister Harper Beckham.
Brooklyn said she had told her parents to refrain from interacting with her on social media and to only communicate with her through her lawyer, so she blocked them on the platform.
According to the Daily Mail, Brooklyn got her lawyer involved after receiving a series of “disturbing” accounts about Peltz, 31. These included suggestions that Mr. Peltz was a “hostage” under her “control.”
There is believed to be long-standing tension between Peltz and Victoria, who allegedly “ruined” their April 2022 wedding in Brooklyn by stealing the bride and groom’s special dance during the reception.
The move reportedly came after Peltz chose not to wear Victoria’s wedding dress design.
Representatives for the Beckhams did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
