Drew Taggart and Marianne Fonseca are officially married.
The Grammy Award winner, who forms EDM duo The Chainsmokers with Alex Paul, and the model and founder of GENTE Beauty, recently tied the knot in a stunning sunset beach wedding.
Their happy news was announced on Monday, Dec. 29, in a video the two posted to their joint Instagram page.
In a reel set to Austin Farwell’s “Champagne,” the newlyweds celebrated their wedding by stepping barefoot in the sand as the sun set behind them. The footage showed the pair dancing separately before Ms Fonseca jumped into Mr Taggart’s arms for a kiss.
Fonseca, 36, wore a white summer dress, while Taggart, 35, opted for a white shirt and black trousers. Two horses with white and brown spots were standing nearby.
“We are married!” the couple wrote in the caption of the post.
The intimate ceremony by the sea reflected exactly what the couple wanted for their wedding.
“We’re going to keep it really small,” Fonseca told PEOPLE in December 2024, shortly after getting engaged. “I want it to feel very intimate, just with the people I truly love. I don’t want marriage to feel like ‘work’. I want to enjoy it and still feel vulnerable with the people I’m closest to.”

Taggart and Fonseca first met in March 2023 at an Oscars party at talent manager Guy O’Seary’s home. Although the two lived in similar circles and both lived in Los Angeles, they didn’t officially start dating until that night, when Fonseca approached Taggart at a bar.
Fans first learned of their romance a few months later in May 2023, after they were seen holding hands as they left a VIP party hosted by Carbone Restaurant in Miami.
Since then, the two have frequently featured each other on their respective Instagram pages.

Taggart proposed at Giorgio Baldi in early December 2024, popping the question with a 5-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond ring.
The proposal itself was intentionally private, Fonseca told PEOPLE before being joined by friends and family later that night.
“No one was there when I proposed because Drew knew I wanted to spend some time alone,” she said. “Then everyone arrived and I was already putting the ring on. Some people already knew, some didn’t. It was so special to see how happy everyone was for us!”
Looking back, Fonseca said Taggart was focused on creating something meaningful rather than pretentious.
“He wanted it to be really romantic,” she tells PEOPLE. “The place was dark and cozy, with red flowers everywhere. We both love Italian food, and we had a great date at an Italian restaurant. He got down on one knee and said he was the happiest person in the world with me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.”
