Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge have reportedly broken up after two years of dating.
According to The Sun, the “Driver’s License” singer and the British actor, both 22, broke up several weeks ago. Their friends are reportedly shocked by the breakup.
“The last few weeks have not been easy for them and they have decided it is best for them to live separately for now,” a source told the publication.
Rodrigo reportedly broke down in tears while attending Lily Allen’s holiday party in London.
“Olivia attended Lily’s party and got emotional talking about it,” a source said. “Her friends have rallied around her, but things have been pretty tough. It’s really sad right now.”
Representatives for Mr. Rodrigo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Representatives for Partridge had no comment.
The two were first spotted celebrating Halloween together in London in October 2023, when their relationship first surfaced.
According to a report in US Sun at the time, the two met through mutual friends and became “inseparable” after exchanging messages.
Since then, they have publicly supported each other and have not been shy about showing PDA.
The two made their red carpet debut together at the premiere of his film Disclaimer at the Venice Film Festival in August 2024.
In September, Partridge told British Esquire in an interview that she was choosing to keep her romance with Rodrigo private.
He shared that they both understand what dating as celebrities entails.
“Yeah, so that it doesn’t get out of proportion or having to explain or have someone understand (I think that helps),” he said. “There’s no question, for example, that we’re in each other for the right reasons. I think that’s something you have to think about when you reach a certain level of success.”
The “Enola Holmes” star also said in an interview with Variety that her fame is so great that she’s okay with being “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo.”
“I can handle it,” he said. “I’m very happy, and I think she is too. So all is well in our world.”
Before Partridge, Rodrigo was romantically involved with DJ and influencer Zach Bier and producer Adam Feys.
